Custom Lakefront Deck Builder
This client chose low-maintenance decking as part of this lakeside deck project. Opting to use synthetic decking materials such as Trex or TimberTech is not only easier to maintain, but it also offers protection from mildew and rot. Some sources also tout that synthetics are a great alternative to wood because they stay cooler under foot — which goes a long way with a lakeside space where bare feet are usually the preferred dress code!
From the sweeping staircase, this deck provides plenty of room for outdoor entertaining, with room for an outdoor dining set and more. Deck Plus added a pressure-treated wooden rail with aluminum balusters and a synthetic decking cap to finish off the space. The overall design is cohesive, safe, and aesthetically appealing from all angles!
Custom Dock Builders
Part of this project includes a custom dock appendage that makes boat access safe and easy. Deck Plus can design and build a boat dock at your waterfront home as a singular structure or as part of a more complex outdoor living space, such as a deck. The only prerequisite (in some cases), for adding a dock is to make sure the water levels can facilitate the build. With a private lake or pond setting the water levels can be manually lowered to accommodate this need, with a more public-accessible lake, we schedule the build during times when levels are lower.
