Here at Deck Plus, we realize it is often hard for homeowners to envision what their outdoor living space could be by looking at what they may (or may not) have now.  Take for example homeowners who have an aging or outdated outdoor structure,  or those that have little more than a stoop into their backyard,  or even those that have nothing. Deck Plus is here to help you imagine the potential of achieving your ideal outdoor living space!

One of the best ways to “see” the potential of your outdoor living space, is to peruse before and after imagery of designs to help inspire your vision. Deck Plus retains many of the pictures we take before we begin a new project in order to pass that before and after inspiration onto you.  Today we are highlighting two projects, one located in Tega Cay and the other in Fort Mill. You will notice in both of these projects the way we improved upon the existing outdoor living spaces both clients had with the addition of an Eze Breeze 3-season room, and more!

Tega Cay Outdoor Living Combination Design

As you can see in the image below taken before Deck Plus began this project, this Tega Cay home had an existing walk-out concrete patio. The space offered no protection from the elements, nor did it afford them any versatility in terms of enjoying various functions within the space.

Before

Deck Plus literally transformed this backyard! By designing an area that encompasses a combination of structures, we were able to increase the functionality and the back-of-home aesthetics. We began by installing a new tiered paver patio complete with a custom outdoor fire pit and curved seating wall. We also added an outdoor kitchen to the upper patio area. The outdoor kitchen is conveniently placed close to the entry of their new Eze Breeze three-season room.  This allows the client a space to prepare food for outdoor dining, and the patio and adjacent 3-season room gives them plenty of space for outdoor dining.

After

Fort Mill Three Season Room

This project entails an Eze Breeze three-season room addition. Instead of an exiting patio, this client’s existing space consisted of a deck before we began the transformative project. When we met with the homeowners to discuss their anticipated design, their main goal was a place that offered shade, shelter, and protection from nuisance insects such as mosquitoes.

To achieve the outdoor room these homeowners had in mind, Deck Plus designed and built this stunning 3-season room using the Eze Breeze system. The room features a gable roof design which allowed space for an open and airy vaulted ceiling within the room’s interior. You will notice the rich wooden finishes within the interior, too, which showcase a stunning wooden ceiling and premium wood decking board flooring.

Taking this transformation a step further, Deck Plus also designed a custom back entry off the back of the home which ties into the new room and is the access point for the new outdoor room. In this area, we used a shed roof design. We used the same beautiful finish details on the porch cover, including a beautiful wooden ceiling and premium wooden decking boards. The mixed roofline adds a high-end custom aesthetic and a one-of-a-kind feel.
